Entwined memories

The story of an elderly couple that, even facing the fragility of life, find a precious refuge in day-to-day conversations. Between laughs and tears, the flashbacks take us to unforgettable moments of their youth, full of love, humour and complicity. A touchy testament of how true love is able to resist time and overcome any adversity.

ENtwined Memories was born from an intimate reflection on time, aging and what remains in loving relationships beyond passion and youth. Through this short film, I sought to explore the value of the small daily choices that build true love, grounded in friendship, patience, and complicity. I wanted to tell the story of a couple who find comfort in shared memories, showing that affection strengthens over time, even in the face of physical fragility and life’s adversities.

This PROJECT was developed during my first year of the Higher Technical Professional Course in Audiovisual Content Production at IPLUSO, where I had the opportunity to engage in all stages of filmmaking, from scriptwriting to post-production and promotion. Directing Entwined Memories was a deeply personal and enriching experience, allowing me to grow as a filmmaker and deepen my connection to emotional storytelling and the intimacy of characters.
